Live Updates on the Grammy Awards 2026: Bad Bunny won Album of the Year and Kendrick Lamar won Record of the Year for Luther at the annual Grammy Awards. Without a doubt, this being a biggest night in the music industry, big names in entertainment industry convened under one roof. Bad bunny stunned everyone by winning ‘Record of the Years’ and ‘Best música urbana record’. “Luther” and Billie Filish won song of the year.

At the 2026 Grammy Awards, Bad Bunny edged out Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga to take home Album of the Year, while Cher was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Nominees for Record of the Year—Bad Bunny (“DtMF”), Sabrina Carpenter (“Manchild”), Doechii (“Anxiety”), Billie Eilish (“Wildflower”), Lady Gaga (“Abracadabra”), Kendrick Lamar featuring SZA (“Luther”), The Subway (“Chappell Roan”) and ROSE & Bruno Mars (“APT”)—have all dominated global charts and earned recognition in multiple categories.

Bad Bunny (“DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS”), Justin Bieber (“SWAG”), Sabrina Carpenter (“Man’s Best Friend”), Clipse (“Let God Sort ‘Em Out”), Lady Gaga (“Mayhem”), Kendrick Lamar (“GNX”), Leon Thomas (“MUT”), and Tyler, The Creator (“Chromakopia”) competed for the coveted Album of the Year award. While Justin’s release received mixed reviews, it signalled his return, as Kendrick’s “GNX” and Sabrina’s “Manchild” continue to top the streaming charts. Many of the same artists (Sabrina, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Bad Bunny, and Billie Eilish) competed for Song of the Year.

As the Grammys celebrated industry legends, they also honored Olivia Dean as Best New Artist. The contenders in that category were KATSEYE, The Marias, Addison Rae, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young. Other prominent nominations included Dijon for Producer of the Year (Non-Classical), Linkin Park’s From Zero for Best Rock Album, Teyana Taylor’s Escape Room for Best R&B Album, and JID for Best Rap Album.
