Karisma Kapoor's Children Claim Bank Accounts Empty After Priya Sachdev's Confidentiality Request
Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan Raj Kapur, have now made a shocking claim that their bank accounts are completely empty. This controversy comes in the middle of late businessman Sunjay Kapur’s massive ₹30,000 crore estate case, where his wife Priya Sachdev Kapur has requested the court to keep details of his assets confidential.
Sunjay Kapur Estate Case Story
Sunjay Kapur, Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, had properties and investments worth around ₹30,000 crore. After his death, a high-profile legal battle has erupted between his widow Priya Sachdev and Karisma’s children over inheritance.

The court had earlier directed Priya to submit a complete list of Sunjay’s assets. However, Priya requested that the details be kept confidential, either in a sealed envelope or through a “Confidentiality Club.” Her lawyer argued that banking and financial documents should not be made public as they involve sensitive personal information.
The Judge’s Question and the Children’s Opposition
High Court judge Justice Jyoti Singh raised concerns about Priya’s request, saying that such secrecy could directly affect Samaira and Kiaan, who are the primary beneficiaries of the estate. She added that if the children cannot access the full details of their father’s assets, it would be difficult for them to defend their case.
The children’s lawyer strongly opposed Priya’s plea and claimed, “The banks are completely empty, nothing is left in the accounts.”
Background: Already Received ₹1,900 Crore
According to Priya Sachdev, Karisma Kapoor’s children have already received ₹1,900 crore from the family trust. But Samaira and Kiaan are still challenging their father’s will, demanding their rightful share of the estate.
To add more complexity, Sunjay’s mother, Rani Kapur, has also filed a petition in court. She claimed that she lost assets worth over ₹10,000 crore due to disputes surrounding the will.
After Sunjay Kapur’s death, the battle for his ₹30,000 crore estate has turned into one of Bollywood’s most high-profile family disputes. On one side, Priya Sachdev seeks privacy in handling asset details, while on the other, Karisma Kapoor’s children Samaira and Kiaan demand complete transparency and their fair share.
The final court verdict will decide the outcome of this massive Kapoor family estate battle.
