Streaming rights for Hindi cinema are sold territory by territory, which means the honest answer to "where can I watch this" is always another question: where are you?

This guide maps the major catalogues by region. It is updated at the start of each month, because these deals rotate more often than any other part of the industry.

Why the catalogues differ so much

A producer sells streaming rights as a bundle of territories, and the buyer for North America is frequently not the buyer for the Gulf. Netflix might take worldwide rights on a tentpole while a mid-budget release goes to Prime Video in three territories and stays with an Indian platform everywhere else.

The practical upshot is that a VPN does not reliably solve this, and searching a service's catalogue from the wrong country tells you nothing. Check from where you actually are.

What changes month to month

New theatrical releases typically arrive on streaming eight to ten weeks after their cinema run, though this window has been compressing. Back catalogue moves less predictably: a studio's library deal expiring can move several hundred titles between services in a single week, usually with no announcement.

We re-check every entry in this guide on the first working day of the month. If you spot something out of date before we do, tell us and we will correct it.
