Corrections Policy
We get things wrong. When we do, we say so on the article rather than quietly changing it.

Reporting an error
Email editor@thebollywoodwave.com with the article’s title or link and what you believe is wrong. If you have a source, include it — it speeds things up considerably. You do not need to be polite about it, only specific.
We acknowledge corrections requests within one working day and resolve most within two.
What we do about it
Factual errors — corrected in the article, with a dated correction note at the foot of the piece describing what was wrong and what it now says. The note stays permanently.
Significant errors — those that change the meaning or conclusion of a piece — additionally get a note at the top of the article, and we update the modification date in the article’s structured data.
Typos, broken links and formatting — fixed without a note. These do not change what the article says.
Disagreements about judgement — a review’s conclusion is not a factual error, and we will not change one because a reader or a publicist objects to it. If the argument in a review rests on a factual mistake, though, that is a correction and we will treat it as one.
What we will not do
We do not delete articles to make a problem go away, and we do not un-publish coverage at the request of a subject, a studio or an advertiser. If a piece is wrong enough to withdraw, we withdraw it visibly and explain why.
We do not backdate. A corrected article shows when it was corrected.

If you are the subject of an article and believe it is unfair rather than inaccurate, write to editor@thebollywoodwave.com. We will consider publishing a response.
